On January 15, 2018, I was awarded the F. Michael Taff award. The F. Michael Taff award is given by the City of Rockville to a local resident who has served the disability community. This humanitarian award is such an honor, and I am humbled to have received it for the work we do for persons with disabilities and the Wheels of Defense Program. Wheels of Defense provides self-defense training for women with little to no mobility. I am so thankful that I was considered and selected for this wonderful honor. Thanks to all for your continued support.
