mission

Build and manage mutually beneficial partnerships to improve the quality of life for people living with a physical disability.

"My goal is to turn my suffering into service.  Every surgery, every hospitalization, every lesson learned and every delay is an opportunity to create an organization that makes life better for other persons with physical disabilities."

Our founder

We are a community-based 501c3 nonprofit that has a partnership brand.  We work with partners in multiple sectors; nonprofit, federal, private and education to develop programs and activities in the focus areas of health and wellness, education and economic empowerment. Our organization believes that persons with physical disabilities can do more than just survive with a disability they can thrive as people who live with physical disabilities. We use a partner engagement model to provide solutions to the social problems associated with physical disability.  Through strategic partnerships, conferences and educational events and with the help of wonderful volunteers, Disability Partnerships continues to reach its milestones.
