Founded in 2015, Disability Partnerships collaborates across various partner sectors (business, nonprofit, government and education) to achieve goals in the following program areas: education andeconomic empowerment, health and wellness and affordable accessible housing. 2022 Partnerships and Communications Intern

Spring internship, 10-12 hours / week

This is a part-time internship with an estimated 10-12 hours per week. We are recruiting for one intern to support the following activities:

  • Research potential partners and develop a partnership plan with strategies and tactics for partnering with various groups for the organization.
  • Propose marketing and communication ideas to promote awareness of partnership efforts.
  • Assist with marketing and social media activities for existing programs for Disability Partnerships.
  • Plan special events to highlight the organization's key programs and activities

The Founder and Executive Director will serve as mentors for the interns and provide guidance and advice. This is an excellent opportunity to develop “real world” experience in the fields of marketing and communication, program development and partnership development.

The internship will focus on the professional development of the intern and is sponsored by Disability Partnerships.  It is structured to provide significant work experiences and provide opportunities for in-depth research and analysis. Interns are expected to take on a great deal of responsibility quickly. The internship is paid a nominal stipend.
