Adaptive Boxing Instructor

Avery Moore is an adaptive fitness trainer and accomplished adaptive athlete who leads Disability Partnerships’ adaptive boxing class. After becoming a bilateral amputee following a fire at age three, Avery began competing in wheelchair track at age six. At age ten, he discovered wheelchair basketball, a sport he continues to play today.

Avery brings years of athletic experience, resilience, and determination to every class. As an instructor, he encourages participants of all abilities to build strength, increase confidence, and discover what their bodies can accomplish. His personal philosophy is: “I believe in pushing yourself to the limit because you never know what you’re capable of doing until you try.”
