Dr. Kendric Dartis is a public health leader with extensive experience in community engagement, health equity, and tobacco regulatory policy. He currently serves as Vice President of Outreach and Engagement at Truth Initiative, where he leads efforts to engage communities and stakeholders in advancing public health.

A graduate of Tennessee State University, Dr. Dartis also serves as an adjunct professor in its College of Health Sciences and as president of the Washington, D.C. alumni chapter. He previously spent nearly a decade with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Tobacco Products.

Dr. Dartis holds a Doctor of Healthcare Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg, a Master of Science in Health Sciences from Touro University, and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Planning from Tennessee State University.

As a board member, he brings expertise in public health, stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships, and health equity to help strengthen the organization’s reach and impact.
